The course will include forty hours of class and field training in ecology, hydrology, geology,  zoology, mammalogy, ornithology, cultural and natural history, and interpretive techniques.  Participants will be encouraged to complete an additional forty hours of volunteer service on a supervised project. Participants will receive a UC Master Naturalist Certificate.
