Facilities
The Sierra Foothill Research and Extension can accomodate a vast variety of research needs and the needs of the researcher. There are over 23 miles of improved roads to most service areas of the Center. In addition to facilities, maintenance, and care of the Center rangeland and livestock, Center staff is available to provide direct support to approved research projects. Our staff is highly qualified and motivated to meet your research needs. About 4000 labor hours are allocated to research projects each year.
The center has a full maintenance and fabrication shop. The center garages heavy equipment and agriculture equipment.
