FIELD RESEARCH
The full cost for field research is $5,331.75 per acre.
ANR and SREC used funds to subsidize this field research rate by $1,029.59 per acre for all University of California and affiliated researchers. The subsidized field research rate is $4,302.16 per acre. Additional commodity funding has further reduced the field research rate by $4,102.16 for cotton projects and $2,802.16 for non-cotton projects. Therefore, the billable field research rate for UC and affiliated researchers is:
$ 200.00 per acre for cotton projects
$1,500.00 per acre for non-cotton projects

$4.94 per 6 lb. sample
The rate for other sized samples is proportional to this rate.
