Housing
The Center's house is a historic facility, listed on the National Register of Historic Landmarks, with two bedrooms and includes cooking and laundry facilities. The kitchen is equipped with a limited selection of kitchenware. The house is provided for those needing to stay overnight at the Center in conjunction with approved research projects, extension activities, or other University business directly associated with the Center's purpose and mission. Space is limited and is made available on a reservation basis.
Current fees for the house use are:
- $7.50 per person per night (linens and towels are not provided)
No pets are allowed in the house or in the surrounding area. House users are expected to assist in maintaining the facility in a clean and attractive condition.

Hotel and Motel AccommodationsFor those wishing commercial hotel or motel accommodations, these are available in Wasco (10 minutes from the Center) and Bakersfield (30 minutes from the Center).
