The primary purposes of the coordinating committee are to foster interdisciplinary exchange between the pest management sciences and to increase county-campus networking and cooperation in the area of pest management. It will serve as a central coordinating forum for all the pest management related groups. The coordinating committee will sponsor a biannual statewide conference in odd numbered years, plan and sponsor specialized educational workshops in areas related to pest management, maintain a web site describing workgroup activities, and keep workgroup members informed about pest management activities more
