A committee of viticulture researchers will evaluate student oral and poster presentations and award prizes for the best three oral presentations and the best three poster presentations. All winners will receive free registration for the 2009 National Viticulture Research Conference, as well as other prizes (yet to be determined) for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each of the two competition categories.
Please register as a student if you would like to be considered for this competition. All student papers will be scheduled before the Thursday afternoon business meeting so that Judges can make their final decisions that afternoon.
Winners of the student competition will be announced and recognized at the conference dinner program on Thursday July 10, 2008.
