2007 CONFERENCE OVERVIEW
The 1st Annual National Viticulture Research Conference, held July 18-20, 2007, was organized and sponsored by a steering committee of researchers in the College of Agricultural & Environmental Sciences at the University of California, Davis. This three-day conference provided an opportunity for researchers in the areas of grapevine breeding, diseases, evaluation of plant materials, genetics, pests, and viticultural practices to make scientific presentations to their colleagues. The conference was well attended with 125 registrants. A total of 63 abstracts were submitted for the published proceedings, which included 40 oral and 23 poster presentations.
