
Extensive discussion preceded the formation of the National Clean Plant Network. A planning meeting where a mission statement was created and clean plant goals and objectives were debated was held in Maryland in 2007. The workshop discussions are available below. A preliminary meeting of the National Clean Plant Network was held at APHIS Headquarters, Riverdale, Maryland. Clean plant network goals and strategies for providing industry with healthy plant material were discussed in a facilitated workshop with focus groups.
