  • California Oak Mortality Task Force - The California Oak Mortality Task Force (COMTF) is a nonprofit organization that brings together public agencies, nonprofit organizations and private interests to address the issue of elevated levels of oak mortality. The Task Force focuses on the potentially devastating effects of a newly discovered pathogen called Phytophthora ramorum. It has caused an outbreak of Sudden Oak Death, which is killing large numbers of the native oaks and tanoaks in California's coastal regions. This website is designed to be a resource for all persons concerned about Sudden Oak Death, from foresters and private landowners, to legislators, educators, and those in the research community. The information contained on this website is constantly monitored and updated to provide the user with the most current data available.
  • Ornamental Horticulture Research and Information Center - OHRIC provides research, news, and information on the California horticulture industry. We're a University of California Cooperative Extension resource, located at the Department of Environmental Horticulture at UC Davis. OHRIC is a cooperative project among many people. They include UC Extension specialists, county advisors, and Experiment Station faculty.
