Want to learn how to prune roses? Or plant a lawn? Or grow a vegetable garden?

Let the Master Gardeners help you.

The UC Master Gardeners are available to speak at your organization, meetings or events. Master Gardeners are trained in home gardening and can speak on many topics. For example, roses, perennials, trees, vegetables, soils, irrigation, lawn, major home and garden pest problems and solutions, landscape design, vertebrate pest control, and weed control, to name a few topics.

This program will provide guest speakers to community groups, neighborhood associations, gardening groups and others who want information. Subjects will range from common gardening information to specialty topic Master Gardeners are volunteers trained and certified by the University of California Cooperative Extension. Each volunteer has completed a 50-hour program of instruction in basic horticulture and pest management. Master Gardeners assist Cooperative Extension by extending information on gardening and pest management to the public.
