Master Gardeners helping home gardeners with their interest in the MG program and with a few garden questions.
The Fresno County UC Master Gardeners are knowledgeable trained adult volunteers in home gardening. As a part of assisting the gardening public, we hold regular plant clinics at libraries, community centers, community gardens, local events, and local nurseries, home improvement stores, as well as local farmer's markets. These plant clinics offer the public a chance to bring their plant samples and ask questions on a wide range of garden topics. The clinics are held weekdays, evenings and weekends, usually for 3-4 hours. Two to four Master Gardeners are on duty at each clinic. A formal presentation is not involved but rather the Master Gardeners are available as "plant doctors".
