The Master Gardener Youth Gardening Committee is made up of UCCE Master Gardener volunteers who are committed to sharing their knowledge of gardening to youth and future master gardeners in our community.
Our goal as a youth gardening committee is to be available to youth groups and schools. We also offer guidance on establishing new gardens, as well as offering advice on improving existing gardens.
We are available for presentations, seminars, and other activities concerned with youth gardening projects. We also offer guided, informational tours of our one-acre demonstration garden to youth groups, schools, garden tours and other interested groups. Our garden is called "Garden of the Sun", a demonstration garden operated in cooperation with the University of California Cooperative Extension Program.

The committee also conducts garden tours at our demonstration garden at the Garden of the Sun. For information on these tours click HERE .
