Call (559) 675-7879 Ext. 210 to speak with a Master Gardener and have your gardening questions answered on Monday's 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. or the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Bring in plant specimens with your questions to University of California Cooperative Extension Office located at 328 S. Madera Avenue, specimens may be dropped off anytime during business hours Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Plant Clinics
Ask Madera Master Gardeners all your gardening questions. We are here to help. Bring a plant specimen to show to the Master Gardeners who will research your questions to get the answers you need.

Spring Garden Tour
MARK YOUR CALENDARS - The Glorious Gardens IV will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Purchase tickets at the UC Cooperative Extension Office, 328 S. Madera Avenue, 675-7879; or Floral Fantasy, 1930 Howard Road Suite K, 673-9051.

"Three Sisters" Demonstration Garden
The garden is located on two acres at the campus of the Madera Center, State Center Community College District. The UCCE Madera Master Gardeners are planning to begin work soon starting with the irrigation and electrical systems to be install in the very near future. The garden will eventually feature the following: trees (fruit and small landscape), berries, grapevines, shrubs, California native plants, bog and water features. There will also be the following gardens; butterfly, children's, herb, rose, three sisters, water-wise and wildlife. Check back for progress on the garden!
