San Joaquin Valley growers and the University of California, Riverside established the Lindcove Research and Extension Center in 1959 to provide a research environment typical of the central valley California citrus industry.

Research Advisory Committee
The Lindcove Research and Extension Center has a Research Advisory Committee (RAC) that is charged with reviewing research proposals. The RAC evaluates proposals in terms of their scientific merit, design, and suitability for being conducted at this Center.
