Tours of the Center are scheduled and directed by KREC staff.Tours are usually Monday-Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Alternative schedules will be treated on a case by case basis.General field tours are normally 1-1 ½ hours in length and can be scheduled by contacting Chuck Boldwyn, Superintendent of Agriculture cboldwyn@uckac.edu, (559) 646-6020.Tours of the specialized facilities (postharvest research, and/or greenhouses, etc.) can be scheduled by contacting Laura Van der Staay, Specialized Facility Coordinator, lvdstaay@uckac.edu, (559) 646-6030.Tour requests should be made at least one week prior to the tour date.
Associated charges will be reviewed during the scheduling process.The KREC Administrative Office, mbaker@uckac.edu, (559) 646-6000, can also be contacted in the event the Superintendent of Agriculture or Specialized Facility Coordinator is unavailable for a lengthy period of time.
