This parent education program is delivered in a workshop format, and is designed to help parents interact with their children in ways that foster early language and literacy skills.  Each workshop features a children's book available in Spanish and English.  Parents are taught to read aloud and to use re-telling techniques that enhance the reading experience for their children.  Each lesson contains activities that extend the story, information on selected literacy topics, reading lists, and take home activities.  There are specific workshop lessons for parents with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
