SHEEPDOG TRAINING CLINIC
WITH
JACK KNOX

NOVEMBER 23, 2009

Jack is a two time National Sheepdog Champion and a Hall of Fame ABCA breeder. His talks include handling and training technique, in addition to important and fascinating insights on breeding and raising puppies. Jack emphasizes, “correct the wrong and leave the right alone.” He encourages dogs to use their minds while developing work style. You can witness dogs progress quickly using this method. Not only will you see improvements in your dogs’ performance, but you will also benefit from watching this method successfully applied across a variety of dogs.

This clinic will be limited to 15 dogs. There are 25 spectator slots. The clinic is open to all levels of dogs and handlers. The clinic will begin at 9am and conclude at 5pm.
PLEASE NOTE: There will be strict enforcement of the leash law by the UC HREC. All dogs must be on leash at all times outside the clinic training area, the designated handler parking or dog “potty” areas. Dogs with leash dragging freely, not tied to or held by a stationary object are considered off leash. Handlers who allow dogs off leash will risk removal from the clinic.
