Photo Size Samples
Site Builder can resize your photos in the built-in File Library and in the master File Library. The built-in File Library will automatically reduce your photo to 550px wide if it is larger, and it will maintain the aspect ratio during the reduction.
The master File Library will accept larger images; however, 550px wide is the suggested maximum width for photos on your site. Larger photos may disrupt the layout of your page.
To resize photos in the built-in File Library
- Upload a .jpg or .gif to the built-in File Library
- Once it appears as a thumbnail, click on the file name
- Select the size you wish the photo reduced to in the dropdown menu
- Click Save Information.
- Your photo has been resized!

To resize photos in the master File Library:
- Upload a .jpg or .gif to the master File Library
- If the picture has a width greater than 530, you will be taken back to the upload page, and given an opportunity to reduce the size of the picture
- Or, if the picture is already in the File Library, just click on the picture name to edit
- Your current picture size will be displayed, along with any other optional sizes
- Choose the size you would like, and click on the 'save information' button
- Your photo has been resized!
