Some users of the Site Builder may have the need to create 'thumbnails' or have a graphic used as a link to an outside site. Both are easy to set up in the File Library. (A thumbnail is a small image that when clicked, will open a larger version of the same image.)
These instructions assume that you are familiar with Adding a file to the library.
When adding or editing a file in the file library, there is an option labeled:
'Link to: *filex* or URL(Optional) '
This field will turn your graphic into a link. The link can either go to a URL anywhere on the web, or to another file in the file library.
First, how to create a thumbnail-

Thumbnail Code Example
- Add the larger file to the file library
- After hitting 'save information' note the file number (it will be at the top, and labeled 'newest')
- Add the smaller file to the file library- in the 'Link to:..' field, enter the *filex* code for the first file. Sample is shown above.
When you want to add this thumbnail to your page, it is only necessary to add the *filex* code for the smaller image. It will appear, and when clicked, link to the larger image.
How/Why to use an image as a link-
You may want have an image link to an outside page. For instance, you may have a logo for ANR that you want to link to the ANR main site. This is very similar to creating a thumbnail. But instead of using the *filex* code, you would just enter the URL.

Sample of creating a link with a graphic
Here is the graphic that was uploaded. This is the actual file and it does link- (I have turned the caption off- see Graphics for an explanation)
