The Home Page is the first thing that people see when they arrive at your site via your main URL. Unlike other pages within your site, the home page has a variety of features and attributes that can be controlled through the Home Page Edit screen.
To get to the Home Page Edit screen, click on the "Edit Home Page Text" icon on the Dashboard, or click on the "Edit Home Page" button on the main navigation bar.

Introduction Title
If you want your site to have an introduction, consider giving it an introduction title as well. The title will appear above the introduction, and it will only appear if there is text in the Introduction Text box.
Introduction Text
If you would like to welcome visitors to your site with an introduction, place the text inside of the Introduction Text box. You can use file codes from the File Library in this box, if you would like to add a link to a document or a graphic.
Current News or Right Column Text
If you are working on a county site, you will see a second text box called Current News. For those of you working on non-county sites, it will be called Right Column Text. This text box allows you to create text in the right sidebar of your site.
Non-county sites have the option to turn of the right column of the home page. The right column must be enabled for the text to show.
As with the Introduction Text, you can use file codes from the File LIbrary in this box, if you would like to add a link to a document or page.
