Site Builder Instructions

Add/Edit an Administrator

You can access the Administrators list and editing tool from the Dashboard in Power User mode by clicking the "Edit Site Information" or "Edit Site Administrators" from the dashboard. If you do not see these links, you may not have access to these features on your site.

Once in the "Edit Site Information" screen, click the "Edit Administrators" button in the right column to view the list of administrators.

The list of administrators should include the Webmaster and any other administrators with access to the site. You can click on any name to edit the information or rights for the administrator. You can also click the "Add an Administrator" button in the right column to create a new profile.

When adding an administrator, you will need to enter some information about the person receiving access to the site. The three fields at the top (name, email, and password) are required. It is important to enter a correct, valid email for the user. If the person you are adding is in the ANR directory, they will be able to access the site via their portal if you provide the email address shown in their directory listing.

If you are creating a profile for a user not in the ANR directory, you will need to send this person the password you create for them. Only administrators with "Full Access" can change or view passwords.

After you have entered the personal information for the user, select the level of access you would like the user to have.

Access Levels in a Nutshell

Full Access: This user is equal to the Webmaster and can access any part of the site. Checking the Full Access box means you don't have to check any other boxes.

Calendar: This user can access, create new entries and make changes to existing entries in the calendar. All calendar items are available to a user with this level of access.

Newsletters: This user can access, create and make changes to the newsletters. All newsletter groups are available to a user with this level of access.

Programs: Each program on your site will be displayed in the Programs section. You can assign users access to just their programs, and those are the only items the person will be able to access in Site Builder.
