Download Proposal
A proposal entitled An Improved Statewide Organization Report , A Proposal for the Consolidation of Statewide Special Projects and Programs and Other Statewide Programs and Functions was developed in 2003 by the ANR Executive and Program Councils. In response to the feedback on the original proposal and in preparation for the ANR Stakeholder Listening Sessions, Vice President Gomes appointed an ANR Working Group to review and revise the proposal. This group was asked to consider the feedback received as it considered how the effectiveness of ANR as a statewide organization might be enhanced.
The ANR Working Group held three meetings and one conference call between December 1, 2003 and January 16, 2004 to review the original proposal, the feedback received, and information on the current ANR organizational structure, budget, and programs and to discuss how the charge to the committee could be fulfilled. The revised proposal for the organization of ANR's statewide units, programs and activities, UC-ANR: A Proposal for Improvement of the Statewide Functions of ANR (pdf) , is the Working Group's response to the charge it was given.
