ANR Analytical Laboratory
RUSH REQUEST POLICY
The ANR Analytical Lab turnaround time goal is to report testing results within four weeks from sample submission. In fairness to all submitters, samples are processed in the order received by the Lab.
If your analytical results require an expedited timeframe, please contact the Laboratory Director, Dirk Holstege, prior to sample submission to ensure that your request can be accommodated.
Rush requests are reviewed and approved based on:
- diagnostic need (e.g., livestock are dying or time-sensitive field management decisions are needed), and
- the laboratory's resources and workload at the time of the request
Charges for Rushes - (unless based on diagnostic needs)
- requests to rush samples in less than the established four weeks are charged at double the normal rate
- requests to place any given testing as the lab's highest priority will be charged at four times the normal rate.
The ANR Analytical Lab strives to meet its clients' turnaround times requirements. It is difficult to process routine and research-based samples on a rush basis, therefore it is in everyone's best interest that samples are submitted as soon as possible following collection.
