Tests typically run on feed samples include:

We request 50 grams of oven-dried sample material (55-60°C for 24 hours) ground to pass through a 40 mesh screen. The maximum unground sample size is one large #56 grocery bag.

For those who require ADF analyses at 3% RPD, the laboratory will run the sample in duplicate (triplicate, if necessary) since it has been demonstrated that ADF analysis by its nature is more variable than most other analytical procedures and an error of less than 3% cannot be confirmed on a single run. If the 3% error limits are not required, ADF can still be run without the duplicate/triplicate protocol.
