Send Them Home with an Expert You’ve burned the midnight oil creating a presentation for a training session, a field day, or a grower meeting. You want to make sure you’ve left your audience with a lasting impression, some practical advice that they can use right away. Don’t you wish that your clients could take home an ANR expert? With ANR publications in their hands, they can. When you prepare a presentation, you can let your audience know about related ANR publications in a number of ways: -
Full-color brochures are available for many recent major publications. -
We have “mugshots” (cover photos) of most ANR publications available in JPG format that can be used in PowerPoint presentations. -
One-sheet flyers are posted on the Communication Services Web site. Just point your browser to http://danrcs.ucdavis.edu/. Click on the “Downloads” button to the left and then the link for “Promotional Flyers.” You’ll find a list of all our one-sheet flyers available in Acrobat PDF format that you can download, print, and copy. Don’t see a one-sheet for the publication you need? Contact us, and we can usually generate one. If you’re expecting a big crowd and need a large quantity of flyers, we may be able to provide them for you. -
Promotional copies of publications can be made available for raffles, auctions, or high-level “schmoozing” at conferences. These materials are available by contacting Cynthia Kintigh, Communication Services’ Marketing Manager at cckintigh@ucdavis.edu. Remember to provide us with adequate lead time, especially if you need us to generate a new flyer. Besides the educational benefits your clients will gain from using the materials, financial benefits go back into the Division—Communication Services uses revenue generated by the sale of publications to print new publications. And our Program Returns and Revenue Sharing programs distributed $129,000 in fiscal year 2002–03 to programs with ANR authors.
