Improve Your Presentations
|
For those interested in improving their use of presentation technology, web tools, and digital images, Communication Services has added a “Training” link to its home page, http://anrcs.ucdavis.edu. The new link takes you to these articles: - PowerPoint for Posters and Presentations provides information on how to create and build slide presentations and posters with tips on quality graphics, size formatting, troubleshooting, and using templates.
- Digital Demystified helps you understand the care and feeding of digital images from acquisition to conversion and placement in various applications. Quality issues, files for on-screen use vs. printing, and an explanation of file types and their manipulation is included. A downloadable PDF document is available containing tips about selecting the right settings for scanning and digital cameras to suit your needs.
- Seven Deadly Sins of Presentations. A professional presentation that doesn't look professional, isn't. Try not to create your presentation based on these common errors.
- Technology Updates includes online video clips highlighting a new feature, software, or other technology tool you can use to communicate to your clientele.
