Since January of this year, Communication Services’ announcement of new publications, video productions, slide sets, and CD-ROMs known as Just Published has been sent as an email message to all ANR personnel. This is done to ensure that information about new publications and productions is distributed as widely as possible throughout the Division.

Typically, when new products are finished, the Communication Services marketing manager ushers those materials out to the general public and to select target audiences. Review copies are sent to journals and newspapers. Brochures are sent to related organizational mailing lists. In all, most materials receive a solid push as they make their way out into the world.

Just Published is the Division’s internal marketing push, enabling advisors, specialists, and county staff to see what new information is available for external clients. In Just Published, the publications are described, and ANR numbers, prices, and the availability of promotional brochures are included. Also listed are the free publications recently posted as an HTML web page or as a downloadable PDF document from Communication Services’ online catalog. http://anrcatalog.ucdavis.edu.
