New Slide Scanning Service
|
Do you have boxes, trays, or drawers of slides that you want to use for presentations, web sites, or posters? Communication Services may be able to help with its Fujiscan 5000 flatbed scanner, capable of scanning forty 35mm slides at once. The scanner is used primarily for scanning slides at high resolution for publication photos, but it can also scan flat art, slides, and negatives in a wide range of resolutions. CS staff will scan your slides or other artwork and provide you with image files either on CD or by FTP. The cost is $2 for each slide. For more information, visit the CS website at http://anrcs.ucdavis.edu and select “Imaging and Posters.” There you will find the details for submitting slides for this new scanning service.
