are looking for AMBASSADORS!
We are looking for Ambassadors to serve as extensions of the Youth Commission and help us represent our fellow youth of Placer County.
BE THE VOICE OF YOUR GROUP OR CAUSE!!!
What are Ambassadors?
Ambassadors represent an interest area, organization, youth group, school or school group, or any other segment of the youth population. They serve as the official connection between the Commission and the group or interest area they represent.
What do Ambassadors do?
- Serve as the contact person for the group or interest area they represent
- Inform the Commission of their group’s happenings, activities, concerns, issues, etc or those pertaining to their interest area
- Relay information from the Commission to the group they represent
- Participate in Commission events, activities, and projects and work with the Commission to create positive change in the community
Who can be an Ambassador?
Ambassadorship positions are open to youth (6th grade to age 21) who reside in Placer County complete the Ambassador Application and return it by September 30th.
