What are the reponsibilities of youth members?
- Participate in the project(s) you have selected with the guidance of a 4-H adult volunteer and/or parents/guardians.
- Attend Project Meeting
- Complete the outlined project work.
- Keep a record of project work.
- Exhibit project work.
- Attend 4-H Community Club meetings.
- Participate in local and county 4-H activities and events.
- Learn the 4-H Pledge and Motto.
- Participate in community service activities.
- Abide by the 4-H Code of Conduct
Listed below are the Minimum Requirements for:

- Earning a 4-H Stripe and Year Pin.
- Eligibilty to Show and/or sell an animal at the fair.
- Participating in the Horse Mastership Program.
- Represent Placer County 4-H at State Fair Horse Shows.
Those minimum requirments are:
- Must be enrolled in 4-H prior to attending any 4-H functions such as club meetings, project meetings, and 4-H events.
- Must be enrolled in 4-H and any market animal projects by county due date of December 15, 2009.
- Participate in at least one of the following Countywide Activities or Events:
- Medalist Selection 2009
- Summer Camp 2009
- Achievement Night 2009
- “You Make It" Craft Expo 2009
- Favorite Foods/Still Exhibit Day 2010
- Presentation Day 2010
- Lily Day 2010
- 4-H Through the Decades 2010
- Youth Fair 2010r.
- Submit a 4-H Record Book which must include:
- Personal Development Report
- Project Report form completed and signed by Project Leader for each project.
- If a Jr./Teen Leader, the completed Jr./Teen Leadership Development Report Form.
- Attend 80% of the project meetings and participate in a minimum of six hours of project instruction per project.
- After two misses, absences must be made up.
- You have 60 days to complete make-up.
- Make-up must be pre-approved by Project Leader.

- If you add or drop a project, or any other changes in your enrollment, you must notify your Community Club Leader and the 4-H Office.
