Cooperative Extension/4-H program in Contra Costa is still in crisis mode.  

Thank you ALL for your kind, continued support. Your letters of concern have helped already! 

A special THANK YOU to our county CAO - David Twa, Supervisors Glover and Piepho, Vince Guise - Agriculture Commissioner, and Oakley Councilman - Jim Frazier, and Brentwood Councilman - Eric Stonebarger for finding ways to keep us funded through September 30, 2009.

LOTS of work still needs to be done to secure our future for the years to come. Weekly meetings are taking place with the Board of Supervisors, state and local department heads, directors, UC Regents, program volunteers, clients, interested members of the general public and private industry.
