Viewer Comments Received by UCTV about ANR programs:
4/29/2002 I work for the School District in Monterey area and would like a copy of Invisible Indians: Mixtec Farmworkers in California / Teaching Traditions: Maestros of Mixtec Culture to show to my colleagues. Please advise on how to order. California
3/19/2002 I just called to compliment your station for a pleasant variety of shows and lectures, and for not interrupting them with annoying commercials! Specifically, I would like to purchase copies of two of your programs I saw recently: Bioinformatics: A Primer for the Genomics Era and Farmland Trust Issues presented by Ralph Grossi. Thank you very much! Kentucky
3/18/2002 I recently viewed a program on your channel. I believe it was named Pruning and Training Young Trees. (Training Young Trees for Structure and Form/Wildland Fire: How Can We Live With It?) The author of this program was Dr. David Burger or Larry Costello? My apologies for the lack of exact details. If possible I would like to acquire a copy of this video for my own training purposes. Thank you. (California)
2/8/2002 Hi, I watch UCTV on Dish. Lots of very interesting things, thank you. A year or so ago, there was a program on pruning trees. (Training Young Trees for Structure and Form/Wildland Fire: How Can We Live With It?) I took notes, but now that I'm ready to try pruning my trees, I can't find my notes. The program seemed so efficient and had the latest ideas, impressive. Would you be showing it again, or could I get a copy of it. Now is the right time for me to be working on my trees. Thank you very much, Dave. (California)
2/5/2002 I follow UCTV very often and greatly enjoy the various programs. I am a physician with a side interest in horticulture. Unfortunately I did miss the program Blueberry Research 2001, which , I am told, was excellent. Any chance it may be re-broadcast? Thank you for you kindness. Sincerely Giovanni Mastrangelo, M.D. (Maryland)
12/7/2001 I am interested in finding out when the program called Blueberry Research 2001 is going to air again. (California)
8/25/2001 I especially enjoyed your program Farmland Trust Issues presented by Ralph Grossi. As one who is very concerned about the issues presented (professionally a retired wildlife biologist), I would like a copy of this program to the County Government here in Virginia. Is it possible to receive or purchase such an item, voice only or video, in VCR format? If not, do you have a rebroadcast schedule for taping off the air? Many thanks. UC has excellent programming. Now viewed almost to the exclusion of network TV via Dish Network. (Virginia)
