She joined the Division in 1988 and has served in a variety of management roles, including her appointment as Assistant Director of ANR’s statewide Center for Pest Management for Research and Extension.
Prior to joining the University of California, Taber worked in research administration at The University of Arizona and as marketing director for a consortium of universities delivering graduate education. Raised in Kansas, Taber earned her bachelor's degree in management at Saint Mary’s College of California and completed additional business management coursework at The University of Arizona. Taber enjoys classical music and participates in volunteer work in her community.
