C. W. Woodworth Award

The purpose of the C. W. Woodworth Award is to recognize an individual Pacific Branch member for outstanding accomplishments in entomology within the region over the past 10 years. Individual Pacific Branch members, industry representatives, departments or other extension/research units are encouraged to submit nominations.

Nominations must include :

  1. A photo-ready digital image for use in the branch meeting program
  2. Biographical sketch of the nominee
  3. Specific identification of the work on which the nomination is based
  4. An evaluation and appraisal of the nominee's accomplishments, particularly the work to be recognized for the award
  5. A list of publications
  6. Selected reprints may be included which exemplify the work on which the nomination is based
  7. Support letters may be included -- these should be concise and provide a factual analysis of the nominee's accomplishments.
  8. Participation in the Pacific Branch may be included for consideration, such as meeting attendance, committee service, offices held, and other activities.
