The University of California and the Mediterranean web was designed to familiarize interested visitors and regular participants about the interests of the University of California in the Mediterranean region.  It is our hope that the information in cal-cat will encourage more participation in our programs and that your suggestions for improvement will lead to a better web and better programs for the benefit of the people of the Mediterranean region.  Lowell Lewis is the coordinator of the California/Catalonia program.
