In Stanislaus County enrollment is done in September and October. Age to join is 9 years of age or 4th grade although some clubs offer a Primary 4-H for K through 3rd grade. Enrollment is processed by club leaders and submitted to the 4-H office prior to December 31st. Enrollment may be done after January 1st, but the youth will not receive credit for the year nor be able to show at the county fair -- for some this is an issue and you may prefer to start the year when the program year starts in September.
