The Rosenberg International Forum on Water Policy was established in 1996 with an initial grant from the Bank of America to the University of California (UC) Water Resources Center in honor of the Bank's retiring Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Richard M. Rosenberg. Mr. Rosenberg's lifelong interest and leadership in water policy is recognized through an ongoing global dialogue to enhance the environment and economic growth, reduce water related conflicts, and improve water policy. The Water Resources Center works with sponsoring organizations to host the biennial Forum.
