Marin Master Gardeners mentor students taking Saturday morning organic gardening classes at the Dance Palace in Point Reyes. Topics to be presented include: soil composting, mulching and fertilizing; seeds and seedlings; perennial gardens, Integrated Pest Management, plus two field trips to local gardens of interest. The goal of the classes is to increase the local food supply/food security and to create a community of gardeners who can share knowledge, materials, and the joy of gardening.
