Bay Friendly Garden Walk - Marin Municipal Water District
Marin Master Gardeners has partnered with the Marin Municipal Water District to provide homeowners in the MMWD service area with information and advice on improving their irrigation practices to help conserve Marin’s precious water resources. 
MMWD conservation specialists train Master Gardeners to make by-appointment visits to homeowners and provide ideas to improve irrigation practices, soil management, and plant selection. The program is promoted at Farmers Markets, public presentations at garden clubs, libraries, and commercial sites serving homeowners' garden needs and in MMWD water bills.
During 2008 our volunteers conducted over 160 client visits.
