This is a prototype Nitrogen Optimization Program developed by Dr. David Crohn UCCE UCR.   A newer version of this program is being developed that should eliminate some of the inconvenient  things about this model, for example, it may recommend an application rate that is too small to be applied.  If that happens, eliminate that application and run the model again, or just add a bit more to the previous application and ignore it. 

Please note:  this version will ONLY run in Excel 2007.  It cannot successfully be opened in an earlier version of Excel.
