We invite symposium participants to join us for a technical tour of research facilities and table grape producers in California's San Joaquin Valley.  Details of the tour are in progress and are subject to change without notice.

POST-SYMPOSIUM TECHNICAL TOUR DATES

Monday, June 28, 2010:  Visit a grapevine nursery in the Northern San Joaquin Valley. Tour the University of California Kearney Agricultural Center, attend a luncheon seminar focused on pest and disease management and a table grape trellis installation demonstration.  The day concludes with a dinner social at the Fresno Zoo.

Tuesday, June 29, 2010:  Attend a seminar focused on growth regulators for table grape production, visit with researchers, growers and packers followed by an Industry Social.

Wednesday, June 30, 2010:  Visit table grape variety/rootstock trials, tour cold storage operations and visit with researchers working on table grape production issues in the Southern San Joaquin Valley.

Please note:  Buses will depart for Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) at approximately 5:00 p.m. (17:00) on Wednesday, June 30.  Participants should NOT make departure arrangements prior to 10:00 p.m. (22:00).
