2009 Forest Stewardship Workshops
This is a series of regional workshops planned for various locations around Northern California in 2009. These workshops are intended for present and future owners and managers of forest or woodland properties. The emphasis of the forest stewardship workshops is on managing your property to enhance forest health and reduce risks. The context for management is the ecology and history of the region, watershed, and your specific property. Road management workshops cover the diagnosis of problems on rural, low standard roads. Practical advice on dealing with those problems is provided. Forest stewardship and road management workshops include lectures by professional foresters and others, provision of resource materials such as relevant publications and field trips. The workshops are interactive and active participation and discussion is encouraged.
These workshops are usually held 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., but times may vary slightly. Please visit the links below for more information
