Orchard at Mirabelle Farms.
Dimitris and Elaine Zorbas revived the orchard and vineyard that was part of Fiddletown's historic Ostrom Ranch. The Mission grapevines, French prune trees, and some of the walnut trees were planted in 1925 and are still bearing. The Zorbas, while renewing the existing orchard, have added a variety of fruit trees, including antique varieties of pears and apples. It is currently a family operated, dry-farmed orchard & vineyard. French prunes are available August through September, pears September through October, and quinces & walnuts are available October through November. They are open to the public August - November, by appointment only.
