The Tuolumne County Agricultural Commissioner’s Office in association with the Central Sierra Partnership Against Weeds and the California Department of Food and Agriculture has received funding to assist landowners with controlling the eastern edge movement of Yellow Starthistle and other rated noxious weeds.
This funding is specific to the 2500’ – 4000’ elevations of Tuolumne County. These funds are only available for 2008 and 2009 while funding lasts.
Workshops will be scheduled in 2008 and 2009 for those willing to participate in the program and how to manage their land for weed control and how to prevent additional weed infestations.
