Beginning in 2010, the California Ornamental Research Federation (CORF) will undergo a name change to the University of California Nursery and Floriculture Alliance (UCNFA). This will reflect the outreach program's expanding focus to include all aspects of the California nursery and floriculture industry.

The California Ornamental Research Federation (CORF) aims to serve the educational needs of the various agricultural production industries in California that produce greenhouse ornamental crops and outdoor nursery products.

Prior to 2008, the management of CORF was through the Kee Kitayama Research Foundation (www.kkrf.org) and the California Cut Flower Commission(www.ccfc.org). During 2008 this management was moved to the University of California.
