THE MITCHEN ASSESSMENT SYSTEM- Presented by Mitchell Owen and Eleanor Stell

The MITCHEN Assessment approach is designed to give participants a battery of helpful self-discovery tools from which to make personal development plans.  By incorporation of a values inventory, a leadership and a managerial assessment, the process allows participants to identify themes for personal growth.  The process is done confidentially; only Mitchen Instructors will see personal scores.  It also is complemented with a vision and personal development program that results in a commitment to action!

Liles Values Audit

Adapted from the work of Rokeach, the LVA allows participants to consider what drives them personally and professionally.  A straightforward indicator, the tool has been used by 1000s of individuals to explore their core value.  The LVA also allows for identification of group core values which can be useful to leaders seeking to support group and team work.

CPI-260 Coaching Report for Leaders

Building on the exceptional 50-year history, validity, and reliability of the California Psychological Inventory (CPI) instrument, the CPI-260 assessment opens a new window into people's strengths and opportunities for development, offering a vibrant portrait of the individual as seen through the eyes of others.  Ideal for one-on-one coaching, small group training, or any performace improvement initiative, this powerful, business-focused assessment transforms the venerable CPI instrument into one of today's most popular leadership development and management training tools.  Its 260 carefully selected items measure more than two dozen scales in five areas and suggest targets for further development in interpersonal behavior, social and personal values, cognitive needs and performance, and personal and work-related characteristics.

ACI- Administrative Competency Indicator

Developed for use with the Administrative Competency Model used by the Extension Southern Region of Extension Services, the ACI seeks to distinguish areas of strength and opportunities for growth for County Extension Directors.  The ACI is ideally suited to be matched with CPI-260 so that leaders can explore both managerial and leadership competencies in their development plans.  The Model can be viewed at http://www.ces.ncsu.edu/pods/ced/technicalcomp.shtml .
