Ballico-Cressey 4-H Club is a very active group when it comes to Community Pride.

We collect food and clothing items for needy families in our community, this is called our Thanksgiving Basket.

We give wrapped presents and Christmas Trees, and ornaments to needy families in our community, this is called Adopt-a-Family.

We sing Christmas Carols, and have monthly visits with the people who live at St. Thomas Nursing Home.  Each month, a member from our club plans and organizes a special event that has to do with a holiday.  Last month we had a Valentines Party and I made cookies, and provided regular and sugar free chocolates for BINGO prizes. the members who participated also told jokes and one read a poem about Abraham Lincoln.   This month, one of our members will plan and carry out a St. Patricks Day Party.  Last year, we had live music when one of our members played Irish Folk songs on her Violin.
