Workgroup goals include:
-- Extending research-based knowledge on adolescent development to the public.
-- Educating youth professionals on effective, research-based youth development practices.
-- Conducting new research on critical social issues in adolescence that both contributes to the social scientific literature on youth development as well as provides insights into effective youth development practices and policies.
