LEAST Demanding applications

Let's say you will be taking a photo with a digital camera for a website.  A digital image for the WWW has the lowest quality requirements.  If you think the image file you are about to create will be used for something other than the website, i.e. a slide or poster, you will need to set the camera or scanner resolution to produce a file that meets needs of those future uses.
